BY POPULAR DEMAND, WOBBLY STUDIO IS NOW OFFERING CERAMIC WORKSHOPS for ALL the clay enthusiasts out there !
Let’s get messy and make some wobbly stuff together, IN A COLORFUL ENVIRONMENT, IN THE HEART OF ASPUDDEN.

THIS QUIRKY HAVEN WAS CREATED BY CERAMIC ARTIST AND ILLUSTRATOR MARIE CHANTEUR.
WITH HER EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE, YOU WILL BE GUIDED THROUGH THE CREATIVE POSSIBILITIES OF CLAY.

WHAT WILL I LEARN ?

YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO MAKE SMALL ITEMS FROM SCRATCH BY HANDBUILDING THEM (no WHEEL)

The workshops are suitable for all levels, whether you are a beginner curious to learn about ceramics or WITH EXPERIENCE who wishes to DEVELOP their practice.

HELD IN ENGLISH, The workshopS ARE run across two sessions in a small group (up to 5 people) :
During the first session, MARIE WILL introduce you to the basics of ceramics and the different modelling techniques : pinching, coilling and slab building.
You'll be free to create your own functional (or not) SMALL objects WITH THE HELP OF MARIE ALONG THE WAY.

The second session is focused on decorating your piece. YOU will learn about glazes, underglazes, applying patterns and illustrations and the firing process. That's when THINGS get colourful !
